The Kitchen Garden – Night Class

Learn how to set up and maintain a garden that will provide you with fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs. This 8 week night class will set you up with all the information you need to get you started. Some of the topics to be covered in the class include: •Planning the lay-out of your kitchen garden. This can be as small as a few pots, so don’t feel you need a ½ acre! •Seeds and seed sowing. •Compost making and soil fertility. •Plant sowing and maintenance • Vegetable profiles. • Pests and diseases. • Herbs and their propagation. • Setting up and maintaining a fruit garden.

(includes some plants and seeds to get you started and notes covering class material each night. Workshops will be followed with tea, cake and chat!)
