The Trug

This is still a new one-day course. We have successfully trialled it with The Ramsgrange Mens Shed and we are happy to offer it now.

The Trug is a great beginners course. You will be learning to use the following tools, a jigsaw, a handplane, a tennon saw, a spokeshave, a battery drill, a battery screwdriver and the pillar drill. You may already be familiar with some or all of these, but if you are not, this is the perfect chance to come and learn safely and with the bonus of taking home the beautiful Trug.

Made from Pine, the Trug can be used to carry anything, vegetables from the garden, apples from the orchard, or your knitting around your house. It will be an addition in any home and can be used in lots of ways.
