Wexford Walking Trails Country Connects Walk @ Tintern

FreeBe sure to have your walking shoes ready for our Country Connects monthly walk on the 5th March next. It’s an ideal opportunity to explore nature and take in the beautiful surroundings of Tintern trails. Bring family and friends along and enjoy a walk at your own pace and be sure to mark the date in your diary!
The walk will lead us through beautiful woodlands carpeted with wild garlic and brimming with wildlife. Many opportunities to enjoy impressive views of Tintern Abbey will be provided along the way.
Details of the walk are as follows:
DATE: Sunday 5th March
TIME: 11:00am to 12:30pm
MEETING POINT: Carpark at the Vine Cottage Bar, Saltmills.
DISTANCE: 5km
DURATION: Between 1hr & 1hr 30mins
ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS: Shorter walks are available if required.
GRADE: Moderate. The walk will be guided by local stewards.
AFTERWARDS: Enjoy a cuppa and a chat in the Vine Cottage Bar.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- A moderate level of fitness is required.
- Wear suitable clothing and comfortable footwear suitable for walking outdoors.
- Bring water and a snack with you.
