Hook Head Cycle Sportive

 Sunday 17th September

Challenge yourself on the 50km or 27km course and, at the same time, raise funds towards building of a full size replica of the Fethard on Sea lifeboat, the Helen Blake, to honour the crew and the nine men who lost their lives during a daring and dangerous rescue in 1914

50km Course – starts at 10.15am, registration from 9.00am

Start at the Hook Lighthouse, left at Porters Gate, past Templar’s Inn, straight over the New Line at Ballysollock Cross, through Campile, left at Horeswood Church, Dunbrody Abbey (refreshment stop), Arthurstown, turn left to Ramsgrange, turn right at Ballysollock Cross and back to the Hook Lighthouse.

27km Course – starts at 10.30am, registration from 9.00am

Start at the Hook Lighthouse, left at Porters Gate, past Templar’s Inn, left at Kilbride Cross (‘the Barrels’), left at Duncannon Holiday Park, through Aldridge, turn right and back to the Hook Lighthouse.

We are happy to welcome riders of all abilities. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
