Take a trip to the scenic villages of Dunmore East and Passage East. You could then drive on to Waterford and the Viking Triangle for the day. From the Hook Peninsula, this is the best way to get to Waterford.


Secret Valley Wildlife Park

Secret Valley was set up by wife and husband team, Ann & John O’Connor, initially as an adventure farm in May 2007. Since then, it has grown from strength to strength. Over the years, following sponsorship, expansion and continued development driven by their passion for wildlife and nature, Secret Valley has transformed itself into a Wildlife Park.

Wexford’s longest established Riding Centre is A.I.R.E approved and is staffed by enthusiastic, highly skilled, qualified people. We offer well-trained horses and ponies, all with superb temperaments, and excellent facilities including both indoor and outdoor arenas, show jumps and cross-country fences.


Tintern Abbey Tea Rooms

The newly refurbished Tintern Abbey Tea Rooms are situated in the grounds of Tintern Abbey and adjacent to Colclough Walled Garden. Offering indulgent freshly made baked goods as well as homemade lemonade, traditional tea and freshly ground Coffee.

These three looped walks start from the trailhead at Tintern Abbey, and offer a variety of scenery and historical features along the routes.
