A variety of events will take place as part of the many happenings at Hook Lighthouse for National Heritage Week. Free guided tours will be on offer each morning from 9.30am to 10.30am – from August 17th to 21st Pre-booking is essential at www.hookheritage.ie
The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group will host an information day at the Lighthouse. The group will tell visitors how best to spot the Whales which are frequently seen off the Peninsula, along with details on Dolphins, Porpoises, Seals and other sea life.
Saturday, August 22nd enjoy a Sunset Tour and Food Experience, enjoy the Sunset on the Balcony of the Tower.
