What is Biodiversity?

Biodiversity is the diversity of the life forms found in a particular place. While many people will immediately think of the plants and animals currently living in the area the geology and fossils of an area should also be considered, as these are the biodiversity of the past.

Biodiversity Report

As the first part of Hook Tourism’s ongoing project to best present and preserve the biodiversity of the peninsula, as defined by our map, a report on the biodiversity present as well as which aspects would be the best to focus on and recommendation on the next actions to be taken has been produced by Jim Hurley of SWC Promotions with funding help from WLD LEADER.
